Wendy Baynton

Wendy's involvement with Magpies Netball Club started in 2008 when her twin daughters started playing netball the year they turned 8. For the first year, she helped out where she could, scoring games and being a general volunteer. She joined the committee in the second year and has been part of it ever since, undertaking a variety of roles before becoming President in 2021. Wendy enjoys coaching and still plays; she believes it's great children to see their mum still playing and sharing a love for our great game with them! Wendy is a teacher and loves spending time travelling with her husband in their caravan. She loves netball because of the great friendships it creates - she says team sports are the best and netball is the best of them all.

Vice President - Juniors

Phil Dreghorn

Phil coaches juniors, as well as mentors and assists our coaches as well as many other roles required to make our club run smoothly. Most afternoons you find Phil down at the courts helping out our teams and coaches wherever needed. He always makes time to talk to our players and offers advice to improve their skills. Phil never lets a coaching opportunity pass him by and our club is stronger for it!
